Brad Davis Earns Certified Financial Planner® Designation

Investment Strategists at Better Banks is proud to announce that Wealth Advisor Brad Davis has earned the prestigious Certified Financial Planner® designation.

The CFP® certification is the standard of excellence in financial planning, and CFP professionals meet rigorous education, training, and ethical standards. Additionally, CFP professionals are held to a fiduciary standard, meaning they must act in their client’s best interests when in advisory relationships.

According to the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board website, there are currently 93,643 CFP Professionals in the United States, with just 4.6% working in Illinois. The program takes approximately 18-24 months to complete and consists of six college-level courses, a capstone project followed by a board exam, in addition to other requirements.

Brad began his career in financial services in 2008 as an intern at Northwestern Mutual while attending Western Illinois University. Upon graduating from WIU, he accepted a position at J.P. Morgan Chase, eventually becoming Vice President of Investments for the Central Illinois area. In 2015, he joined the team of Investment Strategists at Better Banks, where he has enjoyed practicing ever since. Brad holds the Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®) designation from the American College of Financial Services and has a passion for helping individuals and families with special needs navigate complex planning in this area of his practice.
