Better Banks has announced a new contest for high school seniors who plan to continue their education in the fall. The Dorm Room Makeover Contest encourages students to earn entries by managing their bank accounts using digital banking from Better Banks.
“The contest’s goal is to encourage students to be more aware of their spending and saving habits. This contest rewards students for their involvement in digital banking,” said Better Banks President Mike Stratton. “In doing so, students are not only learning to manage their money better, but they are developing proper money management habits and are more inclined to make effective decisions throughout life.”
Teachers, students, parents, and the community are encouraged to promote this contest to their graduating students in the Better Banks service area. Better Banks is committed to helping students make educated financial decisions by delivering the BEST financial education, products, and services. Better Banks understands the importance of helping our community’s youth build a strong financial foundation to understand better basic concepts like budgeting, simple interest, and establishing and maintaining good credit.
Winners of the contest will be selected in a random drawing for $1,000 and another for $500 from all entries collected between April 10th and July 31st.
This contest has ended.
